2018 Mazda cx-5. Dec 22, 2018. #1. Yesterday, as i was leaving my hose to drive 400 miles to my parents, my radio on my 5 month cx5 just died. I can no longer select the entertainment option of my CMU. When i go into settings and try to change the bass or treble, or just reverts back to default. The volume knob no longer shows volume level.
One of which is the fact that the central system often freezes or lags, causing the car radio to not turn off like normal. Normally, you just need to press the power button to turn off the radio of the Mazda CX-5. However, in case that doesn't work, you will need to reset the Mazda Connect. This will recalibrate the car's radio system back to
Sig cx-5. I typically use FLAC via the VOX app and Carplay, or 320kbps MP3s via a USB flash drive. For your situation, you could use a portable CD player (~$30) and a 3.5mm audio jack into the aux input inside the center console. Wow, I had no idea there was an Aux port. I will try that to see how my FLAC's sound.
Mazdas have some of the best Bose sound systems, and even though the CX-5 only has 10 speakers compared to 12 in other Mazda models, it still has a great aud
If the lug nuts are not torqued properly, the rotor can warp. If it only does the vibration when applying the brakes, that points to the Rotor. Another thing you can do to narrow it down further is to apply the HAND BRAKE slowly, gently, and lightly at the speed you feel a vibration. If you feel the vibration when using just a bit of Hand brake
Correction, on closer inspection the system does not read all of the music files in the USB. I have 20gb worth of music in a 32gb USB stick formatted as FAT32. One of my music folders contains 783 songs, and anything beyond the letter M does not show under the folders menu. The playlists are formatted as .m3u. Edit:

If you don’t know whether your USB port is powered data or data-only, you can try this simple tip. Try using two or more different USBs and see if there’s a connection to power. If you don’t have multiple USBs, you can just check your manual or look for notes near the port. 4.
Top Answer Mike E January 26, 2021 The Mazda CX5 Audio system problems can be caused by bad wires or damaged speakers. Much more commonly though they will be caused by a bad fuse. To get to the fuse box look to the left of the steering wheel look for a small seam or crack along the dash. Using a screwdriver or prybar you will want to pop this open.
I know this is a Mazda CX-9 forum but luckily a Google search landed me here. I have the '08 Mazda 5 and was experiencing the same issue with the"Media" button on the radio console, as well as the "Mode" button on the steering wheel stereo controls not ever selecting the "Aux" mini stereo input jack next to the accessory power socket.
Just open the fuse box under the hood (engine turned off). Pull out AUD1 and AUD2, location printed on the inside of the fuse box lid. Use the small plier provided at the same place. Wait for at least 10 seconds and put the fuses back. Start the engine and wait for the head unit to locate the bluetooth module.
